The Buzz!
The Buzz is Suburban O&P’s adaptation of a brimless socket that provides the ultimate comfort and control for the transfemoral (above knee) patient. The ability to walk comfortably and reliably has always been an issue for the transfemoral amputee with an ischial weight-bearing or ischial containment type of a socket. Pressure at this bony structure has always been described as the uncomfortable point when sitting on a hard surface that one tries to avoid and constant pressure at this point is very uncomfortable.

These are the two main complaints of the transfemoral patient.
