On Saturday March 28, 2009 we were privileged to attend a retirement luncheon for Dr
Giohn Lee at the Allgauer's in Northbrook. Over a hundred colleagues, friends, and family
members attended to pay tribute to Dr. Lee for all her hard work and dedication over the
years. For those who had the privilege of being cared for by Dr Giohn Lee know well her
heart and ability to rehabilitate. Dr Lee has officially retired for a well deserved rest. At her
retirement party she questioned the progress of many of you by name. I myself had the
privilege of working with her at Lutheran General Hospital for 26+ years - assisting many
on their road back.  Dr. Lee's standards were always very high not only for herself but her
patients. Her presence on the 6th floor will be missed but the impact of her 30 years I'm
sure will continue.
