Greg’s vocation has been prosthetics for the past 34 years. He graduated in 1972 from Northeastern Illinois University with a BA in Science and Business and Northwestern University’s Prosthetic Program in 1975. Greg has enjoyed speaking across the country through the years on many different topics including VASS systems, socket design for Transfemoral amputees, hip disarticulation gait, congenital deficiencies, multiple limb deficiencies and myo-electric upper extremity prostheses for children. He has presented case studies and special fittings to the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons. Greg has also contributed to studies with leading surgeons on amputation levels and its effects with microprocessor knees. Having his own practice, it has afforded him and his colleagues at Suburban to maintain an aggressive impact of research and development while maintaining a warm and family- like atmosphere in this facility.
After serving 8 years in the United States Air Force, Beth completed her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Pennsylvania State University and graduated from Northwestern University’s Orthotic program in 2006. She is a certified orthotist by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics and is licensed in the state of Illinois. Beth attends pediatric clinics for children diagnosed with Spina Bifida and Cerebral Palsy on a monthly basis. Currently she is working with a team of physicians and wound care specialists on incorporating orthotic treatment to preserve limbs at two different outpatient wound care sites in the Chicagoland area. She conducted a research study on the effectiveness of the night splint orthosis as a treatment for patients with plantar fasciitis. Beth has provided numerous inservices to physical therapy and other allied health professionals and lectures to Physical Therapy students of Oakton Community College.
Bill completed Northwestern’s Orthotics program in November of 2010. He became a orthotics resident in April of 2011 here at Suburban O&P and plans on continuing in the field of prosthetics. Prior to Orthotics Bill received his bachelors degree in marketing from Western Illinois University. Bill made a switch from the business world in order to fulfill his vocation to help others and provide quality patient care on a daily basis.
Kate recently graduated from the orthotics certificate program at the Northwestern University Orthotics and Prosthetics Center in March 2011 and began her year long orthotics residency with Suburban Orthotics and Prosthetics in May. She is returning to Northwestern University this fall to begin her schooling in the prosthetics certificate program, which she will complete in March 2012. Kate will sit for her orthotics boards in order to become a certified orthotist in fall 2012. Kate completed her undergraduate education at the University of Iowa where she obtained a bachelor’s of science in biomedical engineering with an elective focus area of musculoskeletal biomechanics.

After graduating from Michigan State University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Kinesiology and Biomechanics degree with specialization in health promotion. Brian began his career in the health field. He worked as a health professional assessing human biomechanics, ergonomics, blood glucose, cholesterol and blood pressure. Following this work he completed both Northwestern's orthotic and prosthetic graduate programs in March 2008 and June 2010 respectively. He is a certified Orthotist by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics and is licensed in the state of Illinois. He has over 5 years of experience in the field of orthotics and prosthetics. Brian was the recipient of the 2009 Orthotics and Prosthetic Education and Research Foundation (OPERF) Resident Travel Award. This research was presented at both OAPA and Academt national meetings in 2009. In 2011 he had this research published in Journal of Orthotics and Prosthetics titled "Use of a Partial Foot Prosthesis With Vacuum-Assisted Suspension: A Cast Study"
